You may find it challenging to determine which one is right for you. On the internet, you can find many crosshair settings. However, it's still very important and something you should not overlook. It's not seen as being as important as finding the Best Mouse for you, or a Great Headset that can help you hear enemies miles away. Altertnatively, if you have a favorite crosshair then you can duplicate the profile with different color settings.Finding the perfect crosshair for you is one of the most important things in order to achieve your full potential in an FPS game. Using different colors on different crosshairs may be the best bet. If you’re someone that switches between crosshairs then you may find it’s not a one color fits all situation. To find the best option you may want to test out different color codes to find what you like most. With different map, texture, and ability colors you will have to be careful with your crosshair color selection. For some maps you will want to enable outlines so you can see your crosshair clearly. Orange can blend into some walls making it difficult to see. Keep in mind that you may find the crosshair a little difficult to see when flashed by Reyna.įinally, an orange crosshair is also a viable crosshair color. The light blue color also looks great on clips and stream.Ī dark purple crosshair is easily visible on most backgrounds as purple isn’t a color you commonly run into. If you’re a fan of the popular four line crosshair then light blue may be a perfect fit. When using a dark red crosshair you may want to play with the opacity options to find something that isn’t too harsh.Īlthough a light blue crosshair won’t be easily visible on some maps, it does look clean with an outline. The dark red is an excellent alternative to black, making it a little easier to see in some situations. Fortunately, a darker red can now be used. The standard red color crosshair has typically been used by players that prefer darker crosshairs. A nice cream color can add some character to an otherwise white crosshair. You may run into issues when playing Viper, however, an outline will fix that.Īlthough a cream crosshair can blend in with some of the surrounding textures, it’s still worth a mention. Players who like white crosshairs should find joy with a light green crosshair. Unfortunately, there are some darker areas and surfaces that can be an issue. Fortunately, a black crosshair looks great in almost all situations as it stands out on floors, walls, and objects. Now, you can simply change the color code. In the past you would have to work some trickery with outlines to get a black crosshair. Turning on outlines will fix this issue and make the crosshair stand out. However, depending on the shade you may find the color hard to see in some scenarios. Using a light pink color is a great alternative for a white crosshair. Depending on your monitor and color settings the crosshair may look more pink than purple. A vibrant purple looks nice on crosshairs of all sizes. Purple is a good crosshair color that has a lot of versatility. In our experience, blue looks the best on small crosshairs. Unfortunately, the blue can get lost on some maps like Icebox. If you’re using a crosshair that works with outlines then this can fix visual issues.Ī standard blue crosshair looks great on clips and stands out fairly well. However, on some smaller crosshairs you may find the color looks odd. The rich color makes it stand out on most textures and maps. Aqua looks great on most crosshair designs and is easily visible with and without outlines. Select the color menu and choose custom.Īn aqua crosshair is a great alternative to cyan and green. Once you've picked your team it's time to start thinking of about how you are going to use it - Da Plan! Deciding on an overall strategy or game plan is a vital part of becoming a succesful Blood Bowl coach. Your plans should then involve adding extra bits and pieces like Goblin Secret Weapons, Cheerleaders and Assistant Coaches as well as saving up for a Star Player such as Varag Ghoulchewer or an Ogre or Troll. My first purchase after a few games would be an Apothecary, and after this you can concentrate on strengthening the front-line with more Blitzers and Black Orcs. This forms a good foundation on which to build a succesful team. The Deff Skwadd started oit with two Black Orcs, two Throwers, one Blitzer, seven linemen, one Goblin, three Re-rolls and a Fan Factor 5. Needless to say they didn't stay super-strong for long!įor a longer-term squad, designed to stand good in a fight but also able to cope with the odd casualty in the initial stages of the season, I recommend the following line-up. I've played in Blood Bowl leagues for quite a long time now and I've fallen for starting with a super-strong eleven Orc killing machine on a couple of occasions. Once you get to this state it is very difficult to pull your team back up to scratch.Ī far better, and safer, idea is to start off with a team designed to compensate for these early losses. This will make it even harder to win your next game, and more likely you'll sustain further injuries. This means that if you start the season with only eleven players, when casualties start rolling in you'll find yourself starting games with less than a full team. When playing in a league your team carries on for game after game and any injuries or deaths carry over to the next match. However, although four Black Orcs, four Blitzers, two Throwers, one Lineman, two Rerolls and a Fan Factor of 5, might sound like the perfect line-up for a one-off game, for a league it's a bit of a risky option. With all these big and aggressive creatures at your disposal, it's relatively easy to create a league team capable of beating the living daylights out of almost anyone they meet. You've probably guessed that this all points to a team built for sustained, stomping, running plays. The lack of Catchers in the team means that the throwing game should be used as a last resort, and because Orcs don't move very fast they can't be expected to outpace anyone in a flat out sprint for the endzone. Black Orcs (with their Strength 4) are at an immediate advantage when they make Blocks, as the majority of their opponents will require an assist to be on even terms. So, what does this tell us? Well, with high armour values you can expect Orcs to stand up to a lot of punishment during a game. Secondly, Orc teams don't have any Catchers which makes the throwing game particularly risky. First of all, their low Movement Allowance means that they can be easily outrun or outmanouvered by other races. On the downside, Orcs also have two major disadvantages compared to other teams. In common with Chaos teams, Orcs are also able to start a season with Strength 4 players, which makes them very very mean. Orcs have the highest armour values in the game, equal to Chaos or Dwarves, so they are very difficult to hurt. Orc teams have two main attributes: toughness and strength. In Blood Bowl, as in war, you should understand your friends and respect your foes - the better you know your team, the more chance you've got of using it to the best of it's ability. It's not that they can't catch, it's just that when the ball is in the air they tend to forget about it and get stuck into fighting with the nearest opponent instead!īefore we look in detail at creating a winning Orc Blood Bowl team, let's take a minute to consider their strengths and weaknesses. Orcs don't tend to throw the ball much which is a good thing really as they are not very adept at catching it. Orcs play a tough and hard-hitting game based around pounding their opponents into the turf before they stomp downfield to score. Orcs have been playing Blood Bowl since the game was invented, and teams such as the Gouged Eye and Orcland Raiders are amongst the most succesful in the league. The size of your wedding party is a huge factor in wedding costs.Guest lists tend to grow massively when you start writing them down, and this is a great way to manage your list. I suggest creating an A list and a B list and ask that your families do the same. It is better to just forego the invite if it is just a courtesy! And if you do for some reason still send out courtesy invites, then to be safe you need to plan as if they will attend. Also, keep in mind that if the majority of your guests live within a 6 hour drive of your destination you can expect higher attendance. For example, here in the Monterey Bay area it’s not uncommon to see attendance rates of 85-90% because it is a hugely popular area! However, BE AWARE that people love to make a vacation out of a great destination wedding.
